Leather Care

The leather in these cars is of very good quality and will last a long time if cared for properly. You should clean and condition them regularly. (Twice a year for me.) There are many products on the market specifically made for car seats. I've heard good stuff about Lexol, but I use good ole' saddle soap (for cleaning) and mink oil (for conditioning). These come in those little round cans, wherever leather shoes are sold. Just clean the seats per directions with the saddle soap, then apply the mink oil. I do it on a hot, sunny day so I can crack the windows and let the oil soak in for a few hours before I wipe it off.
